Ayurveda for the Soul

July 14, 2024 10:00 am -
July 14, 2024 1:00 pm

Ayurveda — based on the belief that wellness depends on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit — is a holistic approach to promoting mental and emotional health through a combination of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. The practice includes the use of mantras, meditation , and herbs to release stress and enhance clarity and peace of mind.

During the Nourish mini retreat, participants will learn tools and techniques to tune into the voice within that constantly guides and directs us towards our highest good. There will also be a cooking demonstration designed to help them be their best selves through thoughtful eating and lifestyle practices that restore vitality and balance.

Non-member fee of $40 includes general admission to the Garden and a cooking demonstration. Garden members receive a $10 discount.

Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for most events, which are often held in climate-controlled environments, rain or shine. If you have specific questions, please email
