The Garden is open daily for day-time visits from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Radiant Nature is open select evenings from 6 to 10 p.m., with last entry at 9 p.m.

Director of Horticulture
The Houston Botanic Garden is seeking a dynamic Director of Horticulture to engage our visitors by leading the team in all horticulture initiatives to drive year-round attendance and further HBG’s education and conservation mission. The Director must understand the importance of botanic garden collections, conservation, research, sustainability, and display strategies to operate a successful public garden that serves as a resource for a sophisticated local and global community.
Director of Development
The Houston Botanic Garden is seeking a Director of Development who will report to the President & CEO and provide leadership to and work collaboratively with two full-time staff — a Membership Manager and a Grants Manager. This position will also be a point-of-contact for the Garden’s strong, dedicated Board of Directors, as well as any development contractor/consulting resources.
Visitor Services Manager
The Houston Botanic Garden is seeking a Visitor Services Manager to oversee the visitor experience for the Garden’s 140,000+ visitors each year. The ideal candidate is highly personable, organized, attentive, detail-oriented, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, is skilled in developing relationships both internally and externally, and desires to work in a dynamic organization in a stage of rapid growth.
Manager of Youth & Family Programs
The Houston Botanic Garden is seeking a Manager of Youth & Family Programs who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing programmatic initiatives geared to families with children and school groups. This role will manage existing programs and determine growth areas, as well as oversee aspects of Garden-wide programs that have educational components.
Youth Program Coordinator – School Field Trips
The Houston Botanic Garden is seeking a part-time Youth Program Coordinator to coordinate, oversee, and deliver educational experiences for school and youth groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in education, biology, and/ or environmental science, and should have outreach and/or program coordination experience and a knowledge of current school policies and TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).
