Spread your wings and explore the wonderful world of birds during Houston Audubon’s Bird Week!
Join us for Birds, Blooms & Books, a special family-friendly morning celebrating our feathered friends and the habitats they call home. Start with a guided Garden walk to discover birds among the blooms and learn how plants provide food, shelter, and nesting spaces for wildlife. Young birders can borrow kid-friendly binoculars to spot birds throughout the Garden.
Afterward, enjoy a bird-themed story time presented by Houston Public Library’s Park Place Branch, followed by hands-on arts and crafts inspired by the birds of Houston. This fun and educational program encourages children and families to connect with local wildlife while learning simple ways to help protect birds and their habitats.
