The Houston Botanic Garden’s Bayou Blues Festival returns for 2026. Join us on Sunday, March 8, near the banks of Sims Bayou during bluebonnet season, for an afternoon of soulful, roots music, curated by Houston’s own Annika Chambers.

In addition to jamming to five hours of live music, attendees can snap photos in front of the Garden’s bluebonnet field, sponsored by BKV Energy; enjoy the Family Fun Zone, with bluebonnet-themed crafts, games, face painting, and more; shop a festive market featuring local vendors and plants from the Garden; and browse information stations staffed by select nonprofit organizations. Access to the entire Garden is part of the Bayou Blues experience. Concessions, including adult beverages, will be available for purchase; outside food and drink are prohibited.
Festival tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors 65+, active military, students, and children age 3 and older. Festivals are free for Garden members, per the can use the general admission benefit(s) associated with their level of membership.
NOTE: Bring your own lawn/camp chair(s). General seating is first-come, first-served.
Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for daytime events, which are held rain or shine.
