Join Houston Audubon in this creative class where you’ll learn the science behind feathers and leaves and the watercolor techniques to capture them on paper. Participants will take a stroll through the Garden for inspiration and create a work of art to take home with them. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with art, this class from Houston Audubon’s education specialist, Channing Mena. will guide you step-by-step as you bring nature to life on paper.
Member Ticket Price: $0 (included in general admission benefit of membership level)
Houston Audubon will provide all necessary materials, though participants are welcome to bring their preferred art supplies, instead.
Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for Summer Saturdays programs.
