Birding 101
Summer Saturdays at Houston's Garden
Join Houston Audubon to spread your wings and soar into the world of birding! In this Birding 101 session, you’ll learn the basics of bird identification, get recommendations on useful birding tools, and understand what makes the Greater Houston area an important place for birds. Participants will then venture outdoors to identify birds using their newfound knowledge on a stroll among the scenic spaces of the Garden. To top it all off, participants will play a round or two of Bird Bingo for some fun Houston Audubon prizes.
Non-member Ticket Price: $20
Member Ticket Price: $0 (included in general admission benefit of membership level)
Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera and/or binoculars. Houston Audubon will have a limited number of binoculars to borrow.
Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for Summer Saturdays programs.
