Join entomologist Erin Mills to learn how to create unique works of art using beautiful butterflies from around the world. Participants will learn how to spread and dry butterflies and then make their own unique shadow box with a prepared butterfly to take home. The completed shadow box would make a wonderful gift for family or a friend.

Non-member fee of $60 includes general admission to the Garden, and all materials and instructions for creating a shadow box to take home or gift. Garden members receive a $15 discount.

Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for this day-time event, which will be held in a climate-controlled environment, rain or shine. If you have specific questions, please email education@hbg.org.
