Miniature gardens provide an outlet for fun and creativity, while teaching you to care for plants in a tiny world. Erin Mills, the Garden’s associate director of family programs, will inspire you to tap into your creative side and turn plants and other natural items into a tabletop secret garden of your very own. She will also provide care instructions for keeping it vibrant. All materials included. Just bring your imagination.
Non-member fee of $45 includes general admission to the Garden and all materials and instructions for creating one tiny garden to take home. Garden members receive a $15 discount.
This is a great collaborative craft for family and friends. We recommend children be at least 8 years old, and each child must have an adult chaperone/helper. Any additional helper(s) will need a general admission ticket(s) of their own to help craft the one take-home tiny garden included with class registration.
Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for daytime events, which are held rain or shine.
