Experience the rich biodiversity of Houston as you wander the Garden’s lush greenery on a guided foraging journey to discover indigenous flora. Along the way, you will learn about the medicinal and culinary uses of the plants you discover and taste. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature’s bounty as you learn sustainable foraging practices amidst the vibrant twilight backdrop of Houston’s urban landscape.

Non-member Ticket Price: $12/adult, $8/child/student/senior/military
Member Ticket Price: $0 (included in general admission benefit of membership level)

 

What to expect: This event involves walking, as well as picking and eating native plants growing wild.

  • Refillable water bottle 


What to wear:

  • Comfortable, breathable clothing for summer weather
  • Comfortable walking shoes 

Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for Summer Saturdays programs.
