“Wild Texas” Unveiling

On Earth Day — Monday, April 22 — the Houston Botanic Garden and the Houston Parks Board invite you to the unveiling of “Wild Texas,” a new mural along the Sims Bayou Greenway by artist David Cobb. Painted with the assistance of many Garden volunteers and community members over the course of several months, the mural features 300 feet of native Texas plants, insects, and birds.

The unveiling ceremony will be held in the shade of the Garden’s oaks that overlook Sims Bayou, adjacent to the pedestrian bridge over the bayou.
