Warm Up with Potions & Provisions

January 5, 2024 9:00 am -
January 5, 2024 2:00 pm

This winter break, students currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade can discover the healing and warming power of common weeds, kitchen herbs, and other medicinal plants in this fun and interactive day camp. We will wander down to the untouched parts of the Garden’s natural ecosystems to see which medicinal and edible plants are growing wild, learn how to identify them, and harvest herbs from our teaching garden to make powerful potions to bring home and share with family.

Space is limited, so register now!

Non-member fee of $65 includes one day enrollment for one student. Garden members receive a $10 discount.

Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for most events, which are often held in climate-controlled environments, rain or shine. If you have specific questions, please email
