During the Garden’s extended Summer Saturdays on 713 Day, join Houston Audubon to spread your wings and soar into the world of bird identification. Participants will learn all about birds in a climate-controlled setting, and then venture outdoors to identify birds using that newfound knowledge on a stroll of scenic cultivated and natural garden spaces. There will also be an opportunity to compete in a challenging round or two of bird bingo, where knowing facts about our feathered friends is the key to victory.
Participants should bring their own cameras / binoculars.
Birding 101 — including bird bingo — is included in the cost of general admission to the Garden, which is discounted to $7.13 per person for 713 Day. Garden members may use the general admission benefit(s) associated with their membership level to attend the workshop at no additional charge.
