The Houston Botanic Garden invites everyone — from experienced landscape professionals to anyone with a patch of ground at home they are responsible for — to join the participants enrolled in the new Land Care Institute for a day of in-person learning about regenerative landscaping and networking with like-minded individuals who are seeking to embrace landscaping as a functional and holistic benefit to people and the planet, not just a purely aesthetic endeavor. The Land Care Institute seeks to inspire and prepare participants to not only design beautiful landscapes, but also support landscape function by creating balanced, well-designed systems that reduce waste, save costs, mitigate challenges, and connect us to nature.
This special event marking the culmination of the inaugural class of Land Care Institute participants will feature four lectures, a panel discussion, and a time of networking and celebration with refreshments.
Non-member fee of $45 includes general admission to the Garden, all lectures and panel discussion, lunch, and entry to the networking celebration. Garden members and Land Care Institute registrants attend at no charge.
Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for most events, which are often held in climate-controlled environments, rain or shine. If you have specific questions, please email email@example.com.
