Garden-To-Go

Bring the family to the Garden-To-Go event and fill your pot with seasonal color. The Garden has hundreds of baby plants* looking for a new home on your porch or patio, where they will provide you with beautiful color all season long.

To participate in this come-and-go event, bring your own 10-12 inch pot, or purchase one from us ($10 per pot), and then plant it with thrillers, fillers, and spillers for a warm weather seasonal display.

*Take home plants will be very small and are intended to grow into the pot over a few weeks.

One $20 event ticket gets you and/or your family one take-home garden in your own pot (additional fee of $10 applies for those who do not bring their own pot). Additional family members just need a general admission ticket — $12/adult, $8/child/student/senior/active military — to tag along to help. Members can get a take-home garden in their own pot for just $5.

Houston Botanic Garden offers free parking for daytime events, which are held rain or shine. If you have specific questions, please email education@hbg.org.
