Garden-To-Go

Bring the family to the Garden-To-Go event and fill your pot with seasonal color. The Garden has lots of baby plants* looking for a new home on your porch or patio, where they will provide you with beautiful color all season long.

To participate in this come-and-go event, bring your own 10-12 inch pot, or purchase one from us (we’ll also have materials for decorating your pot), and then plant it with thrillers, fillers, and spillers for a cool weather seasonal display.

Examples of plants available for the taking:

• Thrillers – Snapdragon & Kale
• Fillers – Dianthus & Calendula
• Spiller – Viola

*Take home plants will be very small and are intended to grow into the pot over a few weeks.

The Garden-to-Go booth will be set up just inside the ornamental entry gate. To participate, visitors will need a general admission ticket — $12/adult, $8/child/student/senior/military, or free for members. Guests can also shop a curated marketplace of local vendors.

NOTE: Everyone – adults and children – who shows up to the Garden dressed for Halloween (family-friendly, and nothing with weapons – real or costume – please) on October 19 will receive a $5 discount on a general admission ticket(s) purchased on-site.
